Yarn Warmed Over Blog

Maybe it was the premature snow we had here in Wisconsin this year, but this fall I kicked into knitting overdrive. I knit the first pair of Wisconsin socks for myself, a pair of summery socks for Jake, and a pair of purple socks for my mum (I can feel confident about saying that although she won't get them until her birthday because I'm pretty sure she has never actually read this blog.)
Now I'm working on a pair of socks for Jake, the Cycling or Golf Stockings with Fancy Cuff. They are so much fun! Partly I am enjoying this knit because we chose a great locally-dyed yarn, Sheepish Yarn. Also I am excited because this will be sock #12 from Knitting Vintage socks, meaning that when I finish this pair, I will be halfway done with all of the socks in the book! Even a little over halfway because two pairs I have technically started already.
But now back to the knitting!
